The AMC's six-episode miniseries lead by Tom Hiddleston has quickly caught the viewers' attention and has been loved by the many. With that, a lot of fans are waiting if there will be a coming "The Night Manager" Season 2.
Good news from the show's producer Simon Cornwell, he revealed that the "producers" would love to have "The Night Manager" Season 2. "I think in a lot of ways we would love to do another series, it would be very exciting," he said at the Royal Television Society event -- The Night Manager: Anatomy Hit.
Simon Cornwell is the son of John le Carré, the author of the 1993 novel "The Night Manager," which the TV series is based. "There is no book and there's never been a Le Carré story which has been extended beyond the confines of the novel," he added. Hence, it would be more interesting for fans to see "The Night Manager" Season 2 knowing that it won't be based on the book, Digital Spy noted.
However, Simon Cornwell cleared that they won't plan to do "The Night Manager" Season 2 if they know that it won't stand a chance. Of course, they, too, are planning to make it even better compared to its predecessor.
Simon Cornwell understands that they might have a chance that "The Night Manager" Season 2 may not become a hit like its first season, but they are hoping for the best in doing it. Tom Hiddleston, on the other hand, shared his reaction to Entertainment Weekly that it will be John le Carré's decision if there would be another sequel to come.
Tom Hiddleston perfectly knows that there are a lot of fans craving for "The Night Manager" Season 2, but John le Carré is the only one that can push it through. If the 85-year-old novelist feels like they can continue their original story, then surely, a new installment will be in the works! No words or announcement regarding the release of "The Night Manager" Season 2 as of yet.
