While we've known for a while that Rocksteady Studios isn't done with the "Batman Arkham" games just yet, neither the developer nor publisher WB Games has spilled the beans on where they're taking the critically and commercially successful series next. CVG translated the French Gameblog's leak, which sources its information from "someone close to the matter." Set to be unveiled at this year's E3, the game will utilize the Unreal 3 Engine like "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City" before it, but bring more DC headliners into the mix. Superman and Green Lantern were both specifically mentioned.
Time Warner, WB Games parent company, confirmed a new "Batman: Arkham" game is coming sometime this year in an earnings call in Feb.
Gamenguide reported the first rumors of a Silver Age "Batman Arkham" game last July.
