"Total War: Warhammer" developer Creative Assembly recently released a trailer giving some background story to the upcoming lord Grombrindal the White Dwarf, to be made available soon in the game. In addition, details on how to get the Legendary Lord have been released, as well as his unique abilities.
'Total War: Warhammer' Releases Grombrindal's Story
In a recent "Total War: Warhammer" video release, Creative Assembly revealed some details about this enigmatic White Dwarf figure. According to legends, Grombrindal sometimes appear during great battles making his way to where the fight is fiercest to ensure the victory of his kind.
As sudden as his appearance is, he will likewise disappear without a trace once the battle has been fought. Even among the Dwarfs, it is uncertain where this enigmatic "Total War: Warhammer" figure comes from. Some say that he is the spirit of the Snorri Whitebeard, the first High King of the Dwarfs.
However, others believe that he is the betrothed of the Dwarf Goddess Valaya. His fighting prowess is said to be brought about by the Goddess' protective blessing. However, no one is really sure about the exact origins of this enigmatic "Total War: Warhammer" figure.
How To Get Grombrindal In 'Total War: Warhammer'
In the "Total War: Warhammer" Steam page, there are actually three ways to get Grombrindal the White Dwarf. The first is to by the White Dwarf magazine November 2016 issue 3. The publication will contain a Grombrindal Steam key as well as a voucher offering 20 percent discount for the "Total War: Warhammer" base game.
The second way to get hold of "Total War: Warhammer's" Grombrindal is to go to the Games Workshop and Warhammer stores and ask for a Grombrindal Steam key card. These will be available starting on Friday, October 28, 2016 and will last until January 3, 2017 or until supplies last.
The third way is to just wait. The Legendary Lord will be made available to all "Total War: Warhammer" gamers sometime in 2017. The good news is that he will be free.
Grombrindal's Quests and Unique Abilities
Owning Grombrindal unlocks a series of quests to level him up. There are four "Total War: Warhammer" quests for the Legendary Lord and once he completes all of thim, he will surely become a force to reckon with.
The "Total War: Warhammer" lord has a unique ability known as Living Ancestor dilemma where he assumes the aspect of one of the three Dwarf deities Valaya, Grungni or Grimnir. In addition,he has a unique ability known as "Grimnir Has no Fear" which increases melee attack and defense, vigour and the Unbreakable trait. Another ability "Flash Bomb" impedes the advance of enemies by blinding them for a brief period.
