Justin Bieber was booed by fans at his concert in Manchester Arena in England on Oct. 20, 2016. The singer was apparently irritated that fans did not give him the space and moment to contemplate and create a more personal connection with them.
Hollywood Life revealed that Justin Bieber, 22, was at his Purpose World Tour in Birmingham, England on Thursday night. A video captured Justin Bieber trying to talk to the audience before his performance.
Justin Bieber was casually speaking to the people about finding their purpose in the world. In the middle of his speech, however, Justin Bieber suddenly changed his mood and ranted to the crowd, scolding them for interrupting his supposedly solemn moment.
Perez Hilton stated that Justin Bieber told Beliebers that he thought he could have a moment with them and was trying to say something. However, his fans do not seem to want to hear him speak, so he can just get to singing.
He added an expletive and said that he does not need to talk to them. Justin Bieber continued that he was only trying to engage with them, but if they do not wish to do the same, they can just go straight to the music. After his tirade, Justin Bieber turned his back to the audience and walked off the stage. The crowd responded by booing him.
Justin Bieber is apparently not too fond of his fans getting too noisy at his concerts. He allegedly requested the audience earlier in the same show to stay as quiet as possible while he performed. Three days before at his Birmingham concert, Justin Bieber told fans that their screaming was obnoxious, to which he was also booed.
Many of Justin Bieber's fans resorted to social media to vent out, telling the singer that he was rude for wanting to keep them quiet. One fan wrote that they love his music, but the star was rude.
Some fans were more forgiving, saying that the Manchester concert was great. Some added that it would have been better if Justin Bieber left them alone. The Purpose World Tour is still underway.
