‘Supernatural’ Season 12 Episode 3 Spoilers, News & Update: Men Of Letter Threat Really Over? Mary Joins Sons In Investigating A Case

The upcoming "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 3 titled "The Foundry" will send the Winchesters on another paranormal investigation while Castiel and Crowley form an unlikely alliance to hunt a common enemy. While all appears well between the Men of Letters and the Winchesters at the moment, one can't help but wonder how long the apparent peace is going to last.

Winchester Team Gets One More Member - Mom

In the coming "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 3, the Winchesters have one more member join their ranks, their mother Mary. The trio will be soon be investigating a mysterious death inside an abandoned house, according to the synopsis of "The Foundry."

The death seems to be tied to the crying of a baby. Was the victim lured by its crying? The accompanying "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 3 trailer seem to suggest as well. A woman is seen entering an abandoned house and what she saw must have horrified her to no end as she screamed. Towards the end of the trailer, what appears to be the mummified remains of a child inside a cot was shown.

Castiel Unwillingly Teams Up With Crowley

An unlikely alliance will also be seen in the coming "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 3. Former enemies Castiel and Crowley will need to work together to hunt down a common enemy Lucifer.

It was revealed in "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 2 "Mamma Mia" that Crowley enlisted the help of his mother Rowena in locating the whereabouts of Lucifer who has already found a new vessel in the body of a rock star. While they were able to locate him, capturing him is an entirely different matter and resulted in Crowley fleeing the scene leaving the witch Rowena behind. Now teaming up does seems to be the logical choice when dealing with someone as powerful as Lucifer in the coming "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 3.

Men Of Letter

In the last episode, Mary was able to rescue her boys from Lady Toni of the British Men of Letters. An apologetic Mick, another member of the Men of Letters even forks out his card to Cas as an invitation. But can they really trust the Men of Letter to be benign now in the coming "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 3 or beyond?

Probably not; hints suggest that the Men of Letters are anything but harmless. Even Mick already calculated that the Winchesters could be in their way in the future, maybe even as early as "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 3. Should that happen, Mick has contingency plans in place. Was he calling a professional assassin this time to deal with Sam, Dean and Mary for good?
