The first trailer for the much anticipated action adventure game "Red Dead Redemption 2" has just been dropped. Lucky for PlayStation 4 users, they will be getting lots of perks upon the release of the game.
PlayStation Perks
Game developer Rockstar Games had apparently struck a deal with Sony for a content partnership on "Red Dead Redemption 2." The collaboration will be ensuring that owners of the PlayStation 4 will be getting early access to selected online content.
The PlayStation Blog had revealed that the deal will allow PlayStation 4 players to access some of the features of "Red Dead Redemption 2" earlier as compared to those on other platforms. There have been no specific details yet regarding the amount, duration and actual content included. For now, fans are left guessing whether these content will be in the form of in-game items or straight on early access.
There are even reports from Sony claiming that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer released was captured on a standard PlayStation 4. However, it still remains a question whether or not the upcoming game will be supporting the PlayStation 4 Pro.
"Red Dead Redemption" on PlayStation Now
In addition to the partnership for "Red Dead Redemption 2," The PlayStation Blog has also announced an interesting move for the original game. "Red Dead Redemption" will then be available for the PlayStation Now streaming service of Sony. This will be available in the coming months, and will also be available through the PC. This is a great way to bring the game to PC as Rockstar Games never officially released a PC version of the game.
Release Date and Other Details
There is still no exact date for the release of "Red Dead Redemption 2." However, Rockstar Games had announced that the game will be launched on 2017, with the fall season being a huge favorite among fans.
The game will be launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It has also been predicted that "Red Dead Redemption 2" has the potential of selling more than 12 million units in 2017 alone.
