Most gamers following Bethesda are awaiting to see the changes brought about by “The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition” but the company may have accidentally spilled a mobile game in “The Elder Scrolls: Legends”. This is actually a mobile card battle game similar to “Hearthstone” but is the beta version.
“The Elder Scrolls: Legends” may still be currently up over at the Google Play Store though could be eventually taken down at any moment. Bethesda explained that the app they saw was a beta version of the game designed for tablet use, meaning it is still filled with bugs as it continues to be under development, Android Police reported.
That said, the beta version of “The Elder Scrolls: Legends” is expected to be buggy and unstable, meaning gamers can still try to get hold of it but with lower expectations. Upon launch, the game will greet gamers with a desktop-style login screen that is expected to be improved.
After logging in, “The Elder Scrolls: Legends” players are advised to go through story mode first to get accustomed to gameplay. There are reportedly four modes to try such as solo arena, versus arena, versus battle and practice mode, Neurogadget reported. Players start off with three cards and eventually venture out to collect more cards as the game goes along.
Since “The Elder Scrolls: Legends” game app is still in the beta stages, players are warned of issues such as advancing to multiplayer. In short, progress is unstable and may eventually turn out to be a waste of time.
Regardless, Bethesda has come forth to explain that the appearance of “The Elder Scrolls: Legends” on Google Play is unintentional and that they would announce an official release date as soon as the chinks are ironed out. Aside from Android, game versions for iOS, OS X and Windows are expected to be made available.
