There was much anticipation for the Nintendo NX console and fans were treated to a big reveal this week which named the upcoming release as "Switch." Now, the remaining question for the players is: what are the games available with this new Nintendo offering?
When it was announced earlier this week, Nintendo CEO Yves Guillemot expressed optimism that the Switch will bring something better for the gaming world. "With the Nintendo Switch's unique capacities and design, Nintendo could again redefine the way we play games," he added.
Guillemot said they also aim to enable gamers to play video games in any location and at any given time. He noted that the company is currently developing games for the new platform like "Just Dance 2017." The music game was announced for Switch earlier this year during the E3 2016. It will also be available for other consoles such as PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PC. Aside from this game release, "Dragon Quest X," "NBA 2K," and "Steamworld Heist" will also come to the console. Below are some other titles for the Nintendo Switch:
Splatoon Switch
The third person shooter game promises players a rowdy but fun experience. One must be good in spreading ink all over the place to do good with this upcoming game.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Apart from releasing on Wii U, this open-world game will also be available on the Nintendo Switch. It was announced for the console in April this year.
Mario Kart Switch
This karting game will come with new track circuits and characters to make the game more exciting and fun for the Nintendo Switch. Despite being able to play on the go, the local multiplayer option for this game is still available.
Nintendo has not yet announced an official release date for the Switch but it announced that it will be launched in March next year. Fans of the console certainly cannot wait to play these games on the Switch. Are you excited?
