Fans of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" are going to have one super fun weekend. The beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has arrived a day ahead of schedule. Gamers who play on those consoles and have preordered the full game will be able to access the beta, which is now live.
According to Gamespot, Activision took to Twitter to announce the great news, indicating that the beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One arrives a day early. Those who have preordered "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can now get their hands on the beta. The beta run of the game will end on October 24, Monday, so fans have all weekend long to sink their teeth into the upcoming game from Infinity Ward.
A new report from VG24/7 reveals that the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was supposedly scheduled for today at 10 a.m., but Activision and Infinity Ward decided to go ahead and launch it a day early. In addition, Activision has also opened the PlayStation 4 beta to everyone, so gamers need not an invite code to participate. As for Xbox One gamers, however, you will need a code, which will be provided when you pre-order "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."
A beta for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is not going to take place anytime before the launch. Meanwhile, those who participated in the last week's multiplayer beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One would be glad to know that there's a new map to explore. It's called Precinct, which is set in Japan. It's a medium sized map that's filled with backstreets and buildings, and gamers must be wary of sniper lines from high up above them.
"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" recently had a multiplayer beta last week, which featured three of six new Combat Rigs. There's also new content to explore in this weekend's beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so keep checking back for the latest on the Activision game, which lands in retailers this November 4.
