TThe series "Legion" is said to be a part of X-men Universe as the protagonist David Haller is also noted as the son of Gabrielle Hunter and Professor Charles Xavier. David is anticipated to become one of the most powerful mutant in the multiverse.
“Legion” would portray the character of David. He is a human dealing with a mental illness. He was in the hospital struggling with schizophrenia, but it seems that what he hear is real. David’s father is the founder of X-men, Charles Xavier which makes the series connected with X-men but the series has its own story arc.
Comic-con released the full trailer of the series and it features David and Syd in a mental hospital as they switched bodies after kissing. Comic Book relayed that on the second teaser of “Legion," two characters such as David and Lenny were depicted.

Deadline wrote that David will discover that he is not sick after he meeting a fellow patient telling him that the things he hears are true. And it seems his power is unstable because of his different personalities. “Legion” will also be introducing Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, Rachel Keller who did incredible performances in the pilot episode of the series.

“Legion” is composed of eight episode and starred by Dan Stevens. It is based on the Marvel Comics series. Produced by FX Production and Marvel Television. The series is expected to air early next year summer in Vancouver.
