The actor has said it. Tom Holland is already dropping hints about a possible sequel to "Spider Man: Homecoming." Now, everyone is, for sure, starting to get excited. Or maybe, the fans saw this coming as they will not allow Marvel to get "Spider Man" away with just one movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In a previous report by Cinema Blend, it was really a struggle for Marvel Studios to close a deal with Sony to collaborate in the webslinger in the series of Marvel movies. Despite this, Tom Holland is looking forward to "Spider Man: Homecoming" sequel.
Tom Holland said to WWD when he was spotted at the after party for "The Lost City Of Z" in New York City that there is already a progress in the second "Spider Man" movie. He said that he cannot tell about his next project but he shared that they have just finished "Spider Man" and that they are already talking about the second one and who the villain is going to be and where they are going.
As for the villain, sources say that he will be hinted in the first movie. More so, the actions from the plot of "Spider Man: Homecoming" is likely to give birth of a villain in the possible sequel. Since there has been a "no villains from previous "Spider Man" movies" policy, it is predicted that Sony and Marvel will bring in someone like Kraven the Hunter.
In July 7, 2017, "Spider Man: Homecoming" will be released. It is directed by Jon Watts. The fans can just wait for the updates for the possible sequel as it was already confirmed that is on the works. It may take a while before these predictions that are making rounds on the internet be proven but the sequel will come sooner than fans expect it. For now, they can wait and indulge themselves in the adventures in "Spider Man: Homecoming."
