Recently a rumor surfaced online that "Pokemon GO" will receive a connective feature with "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Now, the rumor is apparently coming true as "Pokemon Sun and Moon" director has revealed that the company is hoping for the same.
Mobile games with connective feature with 3DS games are a rare thing. Therefore, this announcement comes as a surprise to many players. Nintendo has just started developing mobile games with new Mario for iOS devices. Could this include the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games?
"Pokemon GO" is an immensely popular and addictive mobile game but it has lost some of its popularity recently. Players want to see more features over and above simply catching Pokemon. They want to do something with them after catching them. What should they expect in the upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games?
It seems that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is taking the franchise to new levels and a connective feature between the two will be praised by players from both sides alike. For 3DS players, the connective feature would mean best of both worlds.
"With Pokémon Go, yeah, we definitely want to have some kind of - at some point - some kind of connectivity, some way the games can interact. A lot of people, of course, knew Pokémon from the animated series, but Pokémon Go reached even way more people than the anime," Junichi Masuda told Game Informer. While Masuda did not reveal much about the connective factor between the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games, he did express interest in familiarizing players with the mobile game. It is expected that 3DS players will receive bonuses and rewards for connecting one of the 3DS games with the mobile game.
But, how will this benefit the mobile game players? As per reports, "Pokemon GO" players may receive XP or extra Candy because of the connection though players would love to receive rare Pokemon. The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" demo has been made available and the game will be released on Nov. 18. The company hasn't divulged any detail on the connective feature. Hence, fans will have to wait for some time.
"Pokemon GO" is already available on iOS and Android devices. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Pokemon Sun and Moon" news and updates!
