‘Splinter Cell: Blacklist’ Abandoned Mill Gameplay Reveals More

Sam Fisher will be back in action again this year with “Splinter Cell: Blacklist,” and here's more information about the game.

Ubisoft put out a new developer showing three different ways to tackle a segment of the game – The Ghost, Panther, and Assault.

The Ghost, as the name suggests, aims to be more inclined toward stealth rather than being lethal. Players can now use a flying tri-rotor drone to mark enemies or knock them out with an electric dart.

The drone can also lure enemies by simply whistling and silently knock them out. Another handy gadget shown is the sleeping gas grenade that allows quiet takedowns from a distance.

On Panther stealth isn't as important. Players can creep up behind enemies and take them out. These takedowns allow Fisher to mark several targets at one time and execute them in quick succession with either ranged or melee attacks, similar to the previous installment of the game.

The Assault style has no use for subtlety. Although players can sneak up on an enemy, they will only do that if they want to use captured enemies as a human shield.

“Splinter Cell: Blacklist” is set for an August 2013 release.
