Eminem is back and he has a big surprise for all his fans regardless of who they are rooting for this coming presidential elections. In his latest single, the rapper disses Donald Trump and his supporters and makes references to almost everyone from Coling Kaepernick to David Hasselhoff.
The new track which spans about eight minutes was posted last Wednesday with the rapper saying that he is currently working on an album and "here's something meanwhile." Rolling Stone reports that Eminem's new track attacks presidential candidate Donald Trump heavily by labelling him as a "loose cannon who's blunt with his hand on the button who doesn't have to answer to no one."
Trumps supporters are also attacked with the lyrics, which read, "run the faucent, I'm a dunk a bunch of Trump supporters underwater." Although Eminem's previous works have been noted to dwell on his dark past or ridicule current events, none of his past works have ever dealt with his electoral stance until now.
Former Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard and Senate candidate for Lousiana David Duke shared his thoughts on the song and said Eminem has been "poisoning the minds of the youth." He added that the rapper is merely a puppet of his manager, Paul Rosenberg and of Interscope co-founder Jimmy Lovine. As previously noted, Donald Trump and Eminem were not always this adverse to each other; they even partied together in 2004.
Eminem threw a party to promote his new Encore album and the launch of his channel of SiriusXM Shade 45 when the candidate made a surprise appearance on that night to give all his praises to the rapper. Trump even said back then, "I know a winner when I see one, and Donald Trump is telling you right now, Slim Shady is a winner. He's got brains, he's got guts, and he's got Donald Trump's vote!"
Huffington Post reports that although it is very typical for Eminem to attack a lot of people, this new song specifically targets Donald Trump and his supporters. Although Trump lent Eminem his support during his fake presidential bid way back in 2004, it seems that the tables have turned due to unknown reasons.
