If the teaser is any indication, next week's "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 3 will be just as exciting as the first two episodes of "Supergirl" Season 2. The show, which stars Melissa Benoist as the titular hero and as her alter ego Kara Danvers, recently transferred to the CW after its previous home network, CBS, was not satisfied with its ratings in the first season.
In the episode directly preceding "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 3, Kara and Clark/Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) have been hanging out however the people from Project CADMUS try to manipulate that to defeat them. Also, according to Entertainment Weekly, Cat (Calista Flockhart) leaves her company so she can explore new things. Also, Kara tries to fit in to her new job as a reporter but her new boss Snapper Carr (Ian Gomez) can be quite a handful.
In the teaser released for "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 3, it looks like Mon-El (Chris Wood) will be in trouble. Though his role in Kara's life is still to be determined, it is rumored that he will turn into Superboy as in the comics. However, it is also rumored that he will be a spy for Project CADMUS.
"Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 3 will be the first episode of the new season without Superman so the producers are treading on water lightly. While Hoechlin does not rule out coming back to an episode beyond "Supergirl" season 2 episode 3, he has described his experience as the Man of Steel as "fun," according to The Wrap.
You can watch "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 3 next week on Monday, October 24, at 8 pm ET on the CW. Should there be any more spoilers on "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 3, GameNGuide will be posting more about it in the next few days.
