Unlike, say, "Gears of War: Judgment," publisher Warner Brothers Interactive is coming right out with their DLC plans before their game actually releases. Yup, the character-specific DLC is getting the Season Pass treamtment, which means players can thrown down cash early on for the promise of new-fighter-fun.
The NetherRealm Studios produced game shows heavy inspiration from the "Mortal Kombat" series, allowing two players to dish it out in combo-heavy 2D fighting. Stages are also highly-interactive, allowing players to gain the advantage with their spidey-sense. Just kidding, this is a DC Comics game - none of that kid stuff over in Marvel's house. Batman, Green Arrow, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern are among the confirmed characters of the 20-fighter roster for launch day. Of course, that DLC will add more later on.

Availible on launch day, players can download the $15 season pass on either Xbox 360 or PS3, though no Wii U option was listed. The game launches on April 16 on all three major consoles.
