"The Originals" Season 4 is the possible last season of the series. There have been speculations that CW is planning to cancel it after the fourth season of the show. It also speculated that there will be a crossover of "The Vampire Diaries" with this new season of the show, which is expected to make its return in 2017.
"The Originals" makes a comeback for its fourth season after five years from its previous season. Fans expected that Hope (Summer Fontana), Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin) daughter, is now a grown up. Hope turns out to be a strong vampire and might save Klaus from the Tunde blade which brings him in a long time coma, Variety reported.
There is also some speculations that Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) from "The Vampire Diaries" will come to New Orleans and may save Klaus. It can be recapped that Klaus and Caroline had an affair when they met in Mystic Falls. So, Caroline will join "The Originals" Season 4 to save Klaus.
Klaus will face a new villain in the upcoming season of "The Originals." This vampire is known to be sadistic and very powerful, seeking revenge towards the Mikaelsons. Klaus must do everything to stop this new villain in order to keep his daughter safe.
Meanwhile, speculation have spread around that CW will no longer make new season of "The Originals" after the new season four, thus ABC will pick up the show for the Season 5. The said speculations got stronger when it was confirmed that there will be lesser episodes compared to its last three seasons. As a result, fans led to believe that the network is truly canceling the show, according to report.
"The Originals" Season 4 is said to be released in January 2017. The season will have a five-year time jump as Klaus's daughter Hope will be a young girl already and will definitely be his redemption.
