"Skyrim: Special Edition" has reportedly gone gold. The announcement was made by Bethesda, suggesting the concrete information about the console file size and PC system requirements of the game.
Bethesda reportedly eased the worries of the fans that "Skyrim: Special Edition" would demand so much from PC users, and console versions will have difficulty capturing the aesthetic brilliance which high-end computers may render the game. Now, the developer confirmed the RPG's minimum and PC system requirements, along with the file size on consoles. Based on reports, the game only requires R9 290 or GTX 780 graphics card.
"Skyrim: Special Edition" on PS4 and Xbox One iteration is reported to need below 40GB of hard drive space. For those in North America, the game requires 17GB of hard drive space on Xbox One and 20GB on the PS4. European players, on the other hand, need 25GB for Xbox One and 33GB for the PS4.
Bethesda appears to be confident that there are a lot of veteran players of "Skyrim: Special Edition" who would not mind spending more just to experience the game like it were a next-gen experience. Reports also indicate that it can likely attract gamers who often travel, since the minimalist system requirements for the PC version make it appears that well-made laptops can run it without any problem. "Skyrim: Special Edition" is set to release on Oct. 28 for PS4, Xbox One and the PC, GameRant reported.
Meanwhile, "Skyrim: Special Edition" is finally getting mods for PS4, which seems to indicate that the long-standing disagreement between Sony and Bethesda has now been concluded. The mod support is set to release on Oct. 28, including renders in native 4K for PS4 Pro. However, there are limitations along with the coming mods, such as the ability of the players to use the assets that are available only in the game. On the other hand, some game flexibility is not included, according to report.
