Looks like the first DLC for "Tomb Raider," Caves and Cliffs is setting a standard.
During one of Reddit's famed AMA's (Ask Me Anything), Karl Stewart, brand manager for Cystal Dynamics, reveals that any DLC planned for "Tomb Raider" would be for the game's multiplayer mode only.
"There are currently no plans in place for any single player expansions. All of our DLC is based around the multiplayer experience for now," Stewart says. I see why they're pushing for the game's new multiplayer mode, but it's definitely disappointing.
Justfying the new mode, Stewart says, "We honestly believe that creating a multiplayer experience was and is the right thing to do. This is our very first attempt to create a MP experience and with that comes a lot of learning. We will continue to monitor and tweak the experience until we get it right."
