Samsung has remained resilient despite Samsung Note 7 recall and issues. With the rumored release of the Samsung S8, mobile users are seeing a glint of hope to replace the apprehensions that the Samsung S7 has made.
In terms of the specs and features of the Samsung S8, many are expecting great things for it. Rumored specs and features were noted such as the integration of the dual-lens camera and an iris scanner. According to Tech Radar, Samsung's iris scanner never even got a proper flagship outing, and Samsung is sure to want to give the tech a chance.
Moreover, it is presumed that Samsung Galaxy S8 would bear the burden of bringing back the trust of the mobile users again and help Samsung redeem its place. Given the issues of the Galaxy Note 7 recall and combustion issues.

In a separate report from Forbes, it also shared of some rumors regarding Samsung S8. Rumors has surfaced that the Home button would be removed from bottom of the Galaxy S8 in favor of a digital onscreen Home button. This feature would then grant the Galaxy S8 devices a full edge-to-edge display.

Also, for the Samsung S8, it is assumed that a fingerprint sensor is expected to be integrated into the display feature as well. Furthermore, rumors of the device integrating a 4K resolution screen (3840 by 2160 pixels) and noted as one of the sharpest screens of any mobile device and a suitable platform for the next generation of mobile VR.
As for the release date of Samsung S8, there are rumors that the device would be release into the market by 2017, preferrably on February 26, but Samsung has not verified the date and the rumored specs and features as well.
