Xbox One may be moving towards getting a present for its ever-adoring fans, namely a further leap in backward compatibility. Given that the competition for the best console has started to escalate quite swiftly, Microsoft may have to up their game a tad bit higher.
Many gamers recognize the Xbox One as the biggest competition to the PlayStation 4, though in many occasions, the Microsoft hardware seemingly lies a few steps behind. Despite such, the backward compatibility feat is one that has become the pride of Microsoft. Gradually, the titles made exclusive to the Xbox 360 have started to get their share of light as they are made available to the present version.
According to a Twitter post by the Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, the idea of unlocking the original Xbox games for the Xbox One is an idea that has not yet been thrown in the dumps. However, Spencer claimed that it is not yet in the works, but will love to allot some time to do so. Other than such, Spencer has not divulged plans just yet, but fans are urged to keep these words in mind.
As per Geek, some fans may want to somewhat recollect the original Xbox 360 games which they have kept back then as they could potentially be more valuable in the future for the Xbox One. Some may recall that there was approximate of 1,045 games launched for the original Xbox, with some of them made exclusively for countries such as the North American territories, Japan and Europe.
It can be justified that the future of the Xbox One and those after could be more than fruitful especially with the classic games becoming playable to their existing versions. This applies more to the games tied up with Microsoft that fans have spent ample time and resources on having.
