'Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut' Coming to Wii U [UPDATE]

UPDATE: It's official.

Amazon posted a listing for "Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut" earlier for none other than Nintendo's Wii U. The retailer gives the game a May 7 release date, though the actual existence of this title outside of Amazon has not been confirmed. Amazon even lists a Wii U specific feature in the description.

"Tap into the Wii U's GamePad true potential: Adam Jensen's newest augmentation, the Neural Hub, offers an immersive and empowering experience, right at the tips of your fingers." Hopefully this indicates a more creative upgrade than in "Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition." The listing also makes mention of "additional content," though that could be anything from dlc-style add-ons to a new pair of shades for Jenson.

A Square Enix official told Joystiq, "We don't comment on rumor or speculation," however this does coincide with the rumor that Square Enix is going to reveal an unnanounced Wii U game at this year's PAX East, which begins this weekend. Wii U owners should probably just take that as a good sign, they don't have much choice these days.

The original, published by Square Enix and developed by Eidos Montreal, released in 2011 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 to excellent reviews. The three scores for the game currently hover around the 90 mark on metacritic.
