The much anticipated first person shooter "Battlefield 1" will be released only two days from now. With fans anticipating its official release, the developers have been dropping details and giving access to features ahead of the launch.
Battlefield Companion App
EA DICE, the developers behind "Battlefield 1," had just released the Battlefield Companion. It used to be known as the Battlelog Mobile App, but is now revised and redesigned. The smartphone application will be supporting the latest "Battlefield" games, including "Battlefield 1" and "Battlefield 4."
The Battlefield Companion app is compatible for all Android, iOS, and Windows 10 devices. The primary purpose of the app is to let the the players track their progress in "Battlefield 1." It also allows them to loadout and ultimately connect with their friends and other players.
The new user interface gives access to the new Career section of the app. This features the player's profile, stats, and awards in "Battlefield 1." It also allows the players to see how their friends are faring through the Friends List. There is also a Customization tab that shows a general overview of the players' weapons and gadgets.
It is also through here that "Battlefield 1" players get to customize their loadouts and design their own emblems. However, the current Battlelog experience will not be foregone. It will still be available through the new Battlefield Companion, as well as via the mobile browsers.
"Battlefield 1" Early Enlisters Edition
Meanwhile, the Early Enlisters Edition of "Battlefield 1" is already accessible now. Those who ordered the early access version of the game gets to play "Battlefield 1" three days earlier than the official release.
Aside from playing the game early, those who bought the "Battlefield 1" Early Enlisters Edition also get additional perks. There are the Red Baron and Lawrence of Arabia Packs. Both of these come with additional themed weapons, vehicles, and items. There would also be five Battlepacks that contain stand-out weapon skins. Behemoth vehicles are also said to make an exclusive appearance.
