There's so much buzz surrounding EA's "Battlefield 1," which hits retailers in two days. While some media outlets have already received their advanced copies and have taken the game out for a spin, others are still waiting on to get their hands on it. For those who are already playing, here is the easiest way to unlock weapons and earn war bonds in the World War I shooter game.
In "Battlefield 1," there is a slightly different way to unlock weapons and earn war bonds compared to your usual shooter game. According to VG24/7, every class in the game has its level and corresponding currency that may be used to purchase weapons. These currencies may only be earned depending on the gamer's class ranking. Note that this is different than the overall player rank.
"Battlefield 1" gamers can find their class rank at the top left corner of the Class Customization screen. Note that class ranks progress by doing tasks that contribute to the team's success. Such tasks include killing, assisting, reviving teammates, and dropping ammo or medical packs among others.
Gamers who are looking to upgrade weapons should know that new weapons will be available as soon as they progress in their new ranks in "Battlefield 1." However, these weapons do not come free and must be purchased using War Bonds. This means that leveling up a rank will only unlock the weapon and let you purchase it.
Note that most sophisticated "Battlefield 1" weapons are available beginning rank 10. Several weapons, on the other hand, are available across ranks. As for War Bonds, gamers can earn these by simply leveling up in a rank. Gamers should also know that War Bonds are pretty limited early in the game, but will definitely incur as you go along.
In other "Battlefield 1" news, Gamespot reports that the "Battlefield 1" $80 Early Enlister edition is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. For those who cannot wait for the official release on October 21, you can already get your hands on this game. It features the Red Baron Pack and the Lawrence of Arabia Pack, as well as themed weapons, vehicles, and items. "Battlefield 1" arrives in retailers on Friday, October 21.
