A new international trailer for "Wonder Woman" was recently launched online, showing new scenes from the upcoming movie. The new video, however, was in Russian, without English subtitles, but still gave new glimpses of Wonder Woman in action.
Collider reported that the "Wonder Woman" debut trailer released in July 2016. Several scenes from the first teaser was replayed in the new "Wonder Woman" international trailer, but both showed how visually appealing the new movie will be when it launches in 2017.
"Wonder Woman" Director Patty Jenkins and cinematographer Matthew Jensen did a great job in portraying the World War I setting. Wonder Woman's (Gal Gadot) costume was particularly outstanding despite the devastation of the surroundings.
Den of Geek wrote that although Wonder Woman or Diana was previously revealed in the comics to have engaged in same-sex relationships, she will be heterosexual in her solo movie. Gal Gadot said that "Wonder Woman" will not particularly delve on the issue, but considering how the Amazons on the island of Themyscira were all women, it was only inevitable for same-sex relationships to happen.
Gadot said that in the "Wonder Woman" movie, Diana will not be involved in any bisexual relationships. Wonder Woman loves people for who they are. She can be bisexual, but generally loves people for their hearts. The trailer also showed the budding relationship between Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). It is very likely that the two will be romantic at various points throughout the movie.
The "Wonder Woman" international video featured several action-packed scenes of the heroine battling enemy soldiers. One part showed Wonder Woman in the middle of battle avoiding bullets with her shield, and another presented a slow-motion scene of her taking on a group of soldiers. A closer view of her shield, lasso and sword was also provided in the footage.
"Wonder Woman" is a true origin story, which will be connected with "Man of Steel." Other cast members include Connie Nielsen, Said Taghmaoui, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis and David Thewlis. The movie will launch on June 2, 2017. More updates and details are expected soon.
