The first few episodes of "Westworld" delved on how the androids were given an anchor and made to believe that they were human. The fourth episode, titled "Dissonance Theory," will feature Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) trying to get more answers.
ComicBook Movie revealed that the "Westworld" Season 1 Episode 4 synopsis, stated that Dolores will join William (Jimmi Simpson) and Logan (Ben Barnes) on a bounty hunt in the badlands. The Man in Black (Ed Harris) will come across an important clue. Dr. Ford and Theresa (SidseBabett Knudsen) will talk about the future of the park. Maeve (Thandie Newton) will be bothered by a recurring vision.
GameSpot noted that in the "Westworld" Season 1 Episode 4 teaser video, Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) asked Dolores to search for the center of a maze mentioned in previous episodes. If Dolores finds it, she may gain her freedom, one of the things that she is keen on having.
Dr. Ford (Anthony Hopkins) said that they know everything about their "Westword Season 1" guests, in the same way that they know everything about their employees. He was telling someone not to get in his way.
One "Westworld" Season 1 Episode 4 scene featured a massive machine that seems to be carving out a new portion of Westworld, adding to the mystery. The Man in Black was also riding with some men.
Previously, Episode 3 of "Westworld" ended with one of the hosts beating himself to death with a rock to avoid getting captured by park employees. Some of the hosts' backstories were featured, and they were given with reasons to hold on to, believing that they were humans and not androids.
There were also theories that Bernard is actually an android and not a human scientist. Dr. Ford previously mentioned that Bernard was the outcome of hundreds of mistakes, hinting that the latter is not human.
"Westworld" focuses on the start of artificial consciousness and how sin transforms. The story is set in the middle of a future and a reimagined past, where humans and androids are nearing conflict.
"Westworld" Season 1 Episode 4 will air on Oct. 23, 2016 on HBO. More updates and details are expected soon.
