"Hearthstone Heroes of Warcraft" has a new weekly challenge that contains unique elements unlike the game's previously quests. Blizzard Entertainment recently revealed details of its Heroic Tavern Brawl that features an attractive reward package but with a hefty entry fee.
Blizzard unveiled its new weekly "Hearthstone" challenge that it claims is the "ultimate" and most competitive Tavern Brawl quest that a player can experience. In an announcement posted on "Hearthstone's" official website, the challenge named Heroic Tavern Brawl requires players to choose a standard deck to join the competition.
Players will not be allowed to change their deck or swap some of the cards once they join the challenge. The said card set will serve as their Heroic Tavern Brawl deck to defeat other participants. Blizzard's game will actually lock in the said deck to prevent any changes.
"Hearthstone's" new tavern brawl is set to reward participants with gold, arcane dust and packs. Gamers who will win 12 rounds stand to get 50 packs, as well as 1,100 pieces of gold and a similar amount of arcane dust. However, players who will lose three battle will be removed from the brawl.
Meanwhile, the Heroic Tavern Brawl requires interested gamers to pay an entry fee of 1,000 gold or $9.99. Players can opt to complete the said weekly challenge several times, although Blizzard has placed a limited amount of 12 play rounds.
In other news, Blizzard has also unveiled its reward table for its new weekly challenge. Gamers with one and two wins will only get 2 and 3 packs, respectively. However, players who were unable to nab a single win will be rewarded with 1 pack, Gamespot reported.
The game developer's reward matrix for its latest tavern brawl will reward players depending on the number of wins. Apart from the packs, gold and dust, gamers with a win count of 10 until 12 will also receive Golden Legendary cards.
