"Dark Souls 3" will be receiving an update later this week to enhance the gaming experience of players. The upcoming patch is aimed to address the issues regarding poise stat. The said feature left fans disappointed but it is expected to get fixed once the update is released this Friday.
The poise stat affects the "Dark Souls 3" gamers' reaction when attacked by opponents. Having a strong poise value on shields and armors makes characters avoid getting staggered.
However, this is not the case in "Dark Souls 3." The function of poise stat in the latest instalment of the "Dark Souls" game series has been altered since weapons with high and low poise get smacked at the same level.
Many gamers were disappointed with how poise stat works in "Dark Souls 3." Some thought the feature was turned off in the latest instalment explaining why characters stagger despite having high poise value.
Luckily, FormSoftware and Bandai Namco will end the issue of gamers regarding poise this week. "Dark Souls 3" will become "more effective for heavier weapons and armor" once the patch is launched, as per PC Gamer.
Earlier, "Dark Souls 3" publisher Bandai Namco explained that there was no problem with poise stat. The feature functioned as planned but gamers just did not understood the mechanics. It was not also turned off like what many speculated but worked differently compared with the previous instalments, according to Kotaku.
Meanwhile, a new DLC pack for "Dark Souls 3" is coming on Oct. 25, called the "Ashes of Ariandel." This will include four new magic spells, two bosses and 15 new weapons that players can take advantage of.
The upcoming "Dark Souls 3" expansion will be set in a new setting: a frozen wasteland. The highly anticipated feature of the DLC is the Hollow Arena, a PVP map with unique structures perfect for battles. Watch the gameplay video below!
