"Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas" has allegedly broken records not too long after its release, and now, the company seemingly wants more. The question on how far this will go is yet to be divulged, but the rumors have started to be rife and may be creeping closer to concretion.
Publisher FDG Entertainment launched "Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas" last month for limited platforms, namely the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. It did not take too long before the action-packed title made its way to the rest of the world and sold handsomely.
As per Game Spot, those who have already laid eyes on "Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas" can justify that the game is a hit as well for the PC, Mac and iOS devices. It was revealed that the title is bound to be made for Android and a certain Nintendo console, which sparks the intrigue further. As for what hardware it could be, the question is to receive an affirmation.
Recent reports claim that "Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas" reached a milestone of over one million copies which could have triggered the company to make the game available to more platforms. Proceeding back to the Nintendo console, it was speculated that the game could head to the Nintendo NX hardware as the announcement says that it will be for a hardware and not for a handheld device which clearly directs to the opposite Wii U.
The Zelda-like "Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas" has seemingly capitalized on the success that they garnered immediately and made a fortune in the process. It has sparked the thought of continuity quickly, called "Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm." Developer Cornfox claims that the sequel could initially be similar to the same elements of the original, but at this point is still yet to be further elaborated upon.
"Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas" was released last month for multiple platforms, and as earlier stated, the Nintendo hardware is yet to receive its fair share of confirmation. Keep posted for more news and updates here at Gamenguide.
