'Wolverine 3' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Hugh Jackman's Last Portrayal R-Rated, Darker Than Ever? Set to Premiere On March 2017

"Wolverine 3" has done filming the whole scenes and bound for editing. Hugh Jackman teases the first look of the movie will be available next week or so but didn't specify whether promo photos or official poster.  He added that it would be a different Wolverine from the others, the Entertainment Tonight reported.

The upcoming film is a reunion between the actor and director James Mangold from their last collaboration of "The Wolverine" back in 2013. "Wolverine 3" will be an adaptation of Mark Millar's Old Man Logan from its comic story, wherein Jackman will portray the older version of Logan. As March 2017 is set for its mark down, the first trailer is said to be released for next few weeks, according to report.

This movie will serve as Jackman's farewell to the role of Logan as he plays it for the last time in the X-Men big screen series. Rumor has it that there will be an introduction of a female version of Wolverine, X-23, this only means that the movie will also serve fans usher a new era of mutants. A few months earlier, producer of X-Men: Apocalypse, Simon Kinberg, unveiled to fans that the movie is going to be very bold and dark and would be R-Rated, Broadway reported.

Meanwhile, upcoming "Wolverine 3" lead role, Jackman, is the prospect of the legendary director Trevor Nunn to portray the lead role of Stephen Schwartz's "Schikaneder". This would make a "dream team" that all followers of both identities look after. Jackman was attached to Schwartz's long-in-the-works "Houdini".

Now, director Trevor Nunn has Jackman in mind for his forthcoming Broadway or West End production of "Schikaneder". The story follows Emmanuel Schikaneder, the librettist for "The Magic Flute" of Mozart, and his passionate relationship with his wife Eleanor.

Both Jackman and Nunn have won Tony awards. Jackman for portraying Peter Allen in "The Boy from Oz" while Nunn for his work on "The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby", "Cats", "Copenhagen" and "Les Mesirables".  Watch "Wolverine 3" Official Title, Poster, Script Page Revealed
