One of the most highly anticipated games of 2017 is Ubisoft's "For Honor," a new action hack and slash game that seems to be very promising. The studio has released several trailers over the last few weeks, and this weekend, some lucky gamers can actually get their hands on it.
NDTV reports that the exciting new "For Honor" from Ubisoft will debut in the Indian Games Expo 2016, which takes places today and will run through tomorrow. During the event, Ubisoft will be featuring the "For Honor" single-player mode. During this year's E3, the studio also showed off the game's single-player campaign. Last week, the studio decided to do away with the split-screen feature of the game, which they touted as a "key feature."
"For Honor" held an alpha test back in September, which was warmly received by gamers who participated in it. During the alpha test, gamers got their hands on not just the Samurai, Viking, and Knight, but also the Raider, Conqueror, and Berserker. The studio also announced the three multiplayer modes for the game, which includes the 1v1 Duel, 2v2 Brawl, and the 4v4 Dominion. "For Honor" will let gamers explore the different skills and abilities of their characters depending on their factions, and create teams to go up against other opponents.
According to IGN, Ubisoft will be showcasing the game as it debuts this weekend in India's IGX 2016. The playable demo details have not yet been unveiled, but it seems that gamers will be able to experience the Knight, Viking, and Samurai factions. For those who are already in India and are looking to attend the event, know that entrance is completely free.
"For Honor" was first announced during this year's E3 press conference. It is directed by Jason VandenBerghe and produced by Stephane Cardin. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on February 14, 2017.
