Eight new Pokemon monsters were unveiled in the latest Nintendo 3DS "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer. The clip also revealed the unique specializations of two new trainers.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" will include a huge number of Pokemon monsters, each with different and impressive capabilities. In the game's latest trailer, the evolved forms of creatures such as Jangmo-o and Bounsweet were featured.
When evolved, the baby dragon Jangmo-o will evolve into Hakamo-o and eventually transform into Kommo-o. Hakamo-o possesses tough scales that makes it difficult to defeat. However, one of its hidden passions is dancing which it will display prior a big attack, according to Polygon.
Hakamo-o's evolved form Kommo-o also has powerful scales that protects its body from attacks. Its standard move involves an intense punch that can knock out an opponent.
Similar to Jangmo-o, the fruit-like Pokemon Bounsweet also has two evolution forms namely Steenee and Tsareena. The Pokemon monster Steenee has a spin move and a harder head as compared to Bounsweet. Meanwhile, Tsareena can attack its opponent through high kicks, as well as unique moves called the Trop Kick and the Queenly Majesty.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" players will also encounter the cute Pokemon monster named Ribombee, as well as the Alolan Grimer. The said mud-like creature's evolved form is a colorful version of itself with several crystal pieces embedded in its body. Named Muk, the Pokemon can utilize the said crystal pieces to attack its opponents.
Meanwhile, the unique capabilities of the Type: Null Pokemon named Silvally was also unveiled in the game's latest clip. The said creature has the ability to assume a different Pokemon type depending on the characteristics of a "special item" that it can hold.
Apart from the new Pokemon monsters, the clip also unveiled two new trainer characters named Olivia and Ilima, Gamespot reported. Rock-type Pokemon monsters appear to be Olivia's forte as compared to Ilima's normal-type Pokemon specialization.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be released on Nov. 18 for Nintendo 3DS. Watch the latest trailer below:
