iOS 10 jailbreak is yet to be seen after Apple quickly released the OS update blocking out jailbreakers like Pangu. However, Pangu and other hackers have silently been developing a jailbreak for the OS update while Apple continues to release more updates to get ahead of the game and slow down hackers. In the meantime, staying on previous OS versions are expected to allow iOS users to maintain most of their jailbroken apps on their phones.
The iOS 10 jailbreak is rumored to be in the beta stage getting delayed by the seemingly-winning Cupertino-based company that is reportedly headstrong in its aims to prevent all vulnerabilities from showing up in their operating systems, according to a report. It has been a month since the OS update has been released and concurrently, more batch of updates are still rolling out with the most recent being the iOS 10.3. Users have reportedly lost support for Cydia and other customized tweaks and apps.
The iOS 10 jailbreak developers are reportedly awaiting iOS 10 updates to slow down. This would mean that the hackers would be given time to develop the jailbreak without worrying about a newer update being released. Apparently, the only way tweaks and apps with Cydia could be maintained would be to stay on the iOS 9.3.2 or iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak devices.
Meanwhile, the iOS 10 jailbreak would need to incorporate the big changes that Apple rolled out via the OS update. First, the viewing notifications on the lock screen have been redesigned so that users no longer need to open an app to interact with the notification. However, the device would need to feature 3D Touch.
The iOS 10 jailbreak would allow users to make use of their apps' functionality while on the lock screen. The notifications on the iOS 10 should appear in a chronological order with the most recent ones featured first, Apple Insider reported.
iOS 10 users would also be seeing an expanded notification that will display a full-size version of media attachments complete with action buttons, animation and playback controls. Watch video about Pangu Gave Up on iOS 10 Jailbreak? False Reports Exposed! (iOS 10.0.2) here:
