"God of War 4" will have a big change in story plot. The much awaited installment will transition to Norse Mythology from Greek Mythology. While Kratos will remain as the protagonist, the character will still be dealing inside the new world of Norse Mythology. A lot of fans are hoping for it to be released in 2017. However, the official launch date of the upcoming installment has not officially announced yet.
Kratos is known as both Greek hero and Spartan warrior betrayed by Ares, his previous master and the God of War. Kratos will now decide to free himself his connection with the Gods and will take revenge to Ares.
The game was completely overhauled by everyone and has gone through a very thorough process prior to making the final decision to transition to Norse mythology from Greek mythology. Trusted Reviews reported that a statement on Cory Barlog, a game directory, tells that this new idea and huge change help make up the game. Apart from that, Barlog also pointed out that "God of War 4" was already seen as a completely different world before Norse mythology.
Moreover, Barlog added that each mythology was considered. However, it came down to two types prior to their decision to adapt which kind of mythology to choose. Other than the Norse mythology, Egyptian was also included to the short list.
In the same report, Barlog also highlights that half of the team has casted their vote for Norse mythology and even laid incredible reasons why they need to switch to it. More so, the development team also plans to change the camera that they've used in the previous installments, according to report.
Since the primary goal of the team is to concentrate on Krato's story, important change in the player-controlled camera should also be applied. "God of War 4" has no definite release date yet for the new installment but it is expected to be compatible with PS4 Pro. Watch video on PS4 Firmware Update Gets Release Date & God of War 4 Leak here:
