However, it appears that the hiatus may extend for an indefinite period. Thus, producers are more likely to take serious action and stop the franchise. Based on the recent reports, producers of the said series may even consider scrapping the third season of "Hunter X Hunter," ChattSportsNet reported.
Togashi's health is critical because of his complicated disease. This gives the creator an unbearable back pain. Therefore, it is essential for the creator to recuperate and get his back in perfect condition because he also does the illustrations of the series. With that not being possible as of yet, the series will not be airing again in spite of the ample number of materials available to proceed with the next season.
