The most anticipated iPad Mini 5 is rumored to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2017. However, tech enthusiasts have already set their expectations quite high with the tablet's new, exclusive features and unmatched specs.
Majority of tech-savvy consumers have already deviated their focus to Apple's impending new devices after the successful release of the latest version of iPhone a month ago. After the most recent product launch event, a lot of tech buffs were dissatisfied only due to the fact that the iPad Mini 5 was not included in the release during the said event. However, majority of the latest reports claim that the upcoming device is expected to be revealed in March 2017.
While the tech giant company has yet to give specific details about the development and release date of the iPad Mini 5, a number of reports suggest that the long wait is caused by Apple's decision to integrate the A10 processor instead of the A9. According to a report, the powerful processor comes with 2GB of RAM. More so, there have been a lot of speculations which simply hint the device to be quite impressive as it will boast fantastic specs, the same with that of the latest iPhone 7.
Apart from that, it is also speculated that Apple might consider including a 3D Touch pressure-sensitive display to the new iPad model. This feature can be observed in the iPhone 7. Moreover, the company is also thinking to get rid of the conventional 3.5mm audio jack in majority of its upcoming devices as per new insights. Apple, however, would be adding a smartly designed and more advanced type of headphone jack.
Based on the report of Macworld, the new version of iPad is expected to be 5 mm thinner than its predecessors. Also, the iPad Mini 5 will get a different chassis, which makes it more durable so as to lessen the likelihood of bending as it is speculated to be much thinner.
