Following Sony's announcement of PlayStation 4's upgraded version dubbed as PlayStation 4 Pro, fans could no longer wait to get their hands on it. People will still be able to play the same games they have been enjoying on PlayStation 4; however, the new console will provide better gaming experience with its advanced graphics system and streamlined gameplay.
It's going to be interesting once all the major console manufacturers, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, release their new gaming systems in the market. The competition has already started even before these consoles make it on the shelves as experts are saying that PlayStation 4 Pro is the answer to Microsoft's Project Scorpio.
However, Andrew House, the president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said that the new PlayStation 4 Pro is not meant to go against Microsoft's Project Scorpio, instead he explained that its new gaming platform is a good alternative for PC players. According to House, Sony' goal with regard to developing the new PlayStation 4 Pro is to prevent players from veering away from consoles. Apparently, the current gaming system could not support the maximum ability most gamers want out of their console so they resort to getting a PC.
Despite Sony's claim that PlayStation 4 Pro is a good alternative for PC gamers, some experts are saying that its new gaming console is not going be better than the advanced specs of most PCs today. The competition is not going to be fair, considering that PC can be customized to get the maximum power needed for better graphics.
Meanwhile, the new Sony PlayStation 4 Pro can definitely support 4K gaming and the company has already revealed several games that are compatible with its latest gaming console. Players can now visit the PlayStation website to see the game line up, which include "Watch Dogs 2," "Mass Effect: Andromeda," "Horizon Zero Dawn," and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."
