The highly anticipated "Clash of Clans" update is finally here and it is now working. At last players of the highly popular mobile game from Supercell will be able to play the highly enhanced "Clash of Clans" gameplay brought by the new update.
The completion of the latest "Clash of Clans" October update was announced via the game's official Twitter account last October 12. Players were definitely excited to try out what is touted to be a massive update set to offer a vastly enhanced "Clash of Clans" gameplay experience.
However, it appears that all did not go according to plan, as is often the case with updates. A day after the October "Clash of Clans" update was announced, another Twitter post revealed that some players have issues regarding special packages.
Fortunately, the "Clash of Clans" team acted fast, On October 13, a day after the glitches were discovered, Supercell tweeted that the "Clash of Clans" update is now glitch-free and the game back online. Among the major changes brought by the latest "Clash of Clans" update is the introduction of Friendly Wars as reported in the game's official site. This war is a little informal which can last for only short periods of time like an hour or so and could only contain 10 combatants, five from each side.
The new "Clash of Clans" update also introduced tweaks into some features like the Clash Friends and Friendly Challenges. Players may now add friends in Clash via the player profile menu. In addition, heroes may be able to defend their bases even during upgrades in Friendly Challenge attacks.
The October "Clash of Clans" update likewise streamlined army training making it more convenient to players. The updates release notes confirms that two armies may now be trained simultaneously with simple taps.
And for the units and buildings, some rebalancing were also done to make the "Clash of Clans" gameplay an enjoyable experience. For instance, bomb towers now affects attacking melee units within its radius, while witches have been upgraded with more hp.
