A lot of Apple fans are asking when the MacBook Pro 2016 will arrive or whether the MacBook Air is already dead. As for its specs and features, many things are projected to occur.
According to Forbes, Rhoda Alexander of IHS Market Technology stated that the production will begin in the second quarter of the calendar on refreshes of the 13.3-inch MacBook Air, and both 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch MacBook Pro.
In the same report, the Director Tablet and Notebook PCs also pointed out that there is a big chance that the new products of Apple will be released in either October or last quarter of 2016.
The previous speculations by Daniel Matte, an analyst at Canalys, there's a possibility for Apple to incorporate the option for AMD's newest "Polaris" graphics processor as reported by The Week. The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be a whole lot slimmer and will also come with a much flatter keyboard.
More so, Alexander stated that the new MacBook Pros have tinier footprint than the present models. In addition, Alexander also mentioned about the casing's shallower curves around the edges.
Feature-wise, the new MacBook Pro 2016, under speculations, will be featuring an OLED touch-sensitive display as well as a dynamic set of function keys. The OLED display is speculated to replace the present row of physical function keys. The latter, on the other hand, will showcase a virtual representation of the standard keys according to the task to be carried out by the user as noted in some reports.
Moreover, USB ports along with Touch ID fingerprint identity sensors are also speculated features to be added. Meanwhile, Apple has already given beta 3 of Mac OS 10.12.1. According to AppleInsider, there are rumors circulating that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will boast will ship with Mac OS 10.12.1 later this month.
