Several "Avatar" fans are very excited on it second sequel. There are a lot of rumors and speculations about the most anticipated "Avatar 2." But, are the Navi's or people of Pandora coming back to the big screen? Is there really a movie sequel coming? What will happen to the leading characters Jake and Neytiri? According to a report from CSN, James Cameron, one of the Hollywood's elite directors revealed that "Avatar 2" plot will be focusing on Jake and Neytiris married life, this also means that the movie sequel is now under development. "Avatar 2" will be more about a family saga and their struggle being with humans.
Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver will reprise their roles as Colonel Miles Quaritch and Dr. Grace Augustine as stated by MStarsNews. The two characters died on the first movie but they will be resurrected by the Navi's and live among them on the upcoming "Avatar 2." And because of his huge role in defending Pandora to the humans, Jake (Sam Worthington) will become the leader of the Omaticaya Clan.
Stephen Lang is very well known for his doing role as the main antagonist in "Avatar." He received multiple nominations such as Best in Movie Fight, Teen Choice Movie Villain and the Saturn award for the Best Supporting Actor. The elite actor is also expected to take one of the lead roles in "Avatar 2," but not as a villain.
Director James Cameron said "Avatar" has four movie sequels. The director said he wants the release dates to be as close as possible. They are aiming for the "Avatar 5" to be released in 2023, the "Avatar 4" in 2022 and the "Avatar 3" in 2020, while the "Avatar 2" in 2018.
