Following Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction in 2015, things have not been the same for the English pop boy band. The group has never really officially disbanded and is just on hiatus but most of its members have already gone their separate ways doing their own solo thing. Harry Styles, one of the members of the popular boy band, recently spoke about his journey as a solo artist, what he pictures himself to be in the future and the fate of his band.
In an interview with Another Man magazine (via Mirror), the 22-year-old singer admitted that he sees himself as someone who would soon settle down and have a family. Harry Styles even shared that he's looking forward to that day when he finally kisses dating goodbye. Styles had been linked to famous women in the entertainment industry, including Taylor Swift and Caroline Frank. On the subject of the fate of his band, One Direction, Harry Styles implied that it's still possible for all of them to get together again. "Maybe at some point, everyone will want to do something again but it is better if it happens naturally," he said in the interview.
Harry Styles also brought hope to millions of One Direction fans, who have been waiting for the band to get back together from their said hiatus. He said that he won't totally rule out that the band will reunite someday because he considers the group as the "greatest thing that ever happened" to him that had a profound impact on his life.
Meanwhile, it appears that Harry Styles isn't the only One Direction member who wants to give fans some hope of seeing the group perform together again. Recently, Niall Horan also gave the same hint during a radio interview, The Independent reported. Horan responds to a question about choosing between golf and one more performance from the group, to which he replied, "It's not a case of one more show. There's going to be plenty more One Direction shows. That's a guarantee... There's definitely more than one."
For now, fans have yet to know if the band will truly be back together. Each of them is still busy with their own solo careers. For instance, Harry Styles is currently filming "Dunkirk," a movie directed by Christopher Nolan. 1D fans should just wait for an announcement stay tuned for more updates.
