Many fans are hopeful that "Kingdom Hearts" 3 release date will come soon. Many fans believe that the 15th anniversary next year will also be the release date of the highly-anticipated game. After so long, game developer Square Enix broke its silence about the game's progress. The game director revealed that "Kingdom Hearts" 3 will feature advanced functions and world expansions.
'Kingdom Hearts' 3 World Expansion & Improvements
In a rare move, game director Tetsuya Nomura provided an update on the highly-anticipated "Kingdom Hearts" 3. On a Twitter post translated by Goldplanner, Nomura promised that the game is coming along steadily. While this may not be the right time Square Enix previously promised its fans, the tiny bit of assurance was enough for fans to look forward to its release. Aside from the assuring fans that the game is right on track; the game director also revealed exciting new worlds.

"The other game we are working on, 'Kingdom Hearts' 3, is coming along steadily. There are new worlds in which you can run, jump," Gaming Bolt quoted Tetsuya Nomura. "I'm very excited about moving Sora around in the wider space with his higher range of maneuverability." While the main focus of Square Enix is to release "Kingdom Hearts" 2.8 as of the moment, it's reassuring to know that they are also working the third installment alongside the 2.8 version. "Kingdom Hearts" 2.8 is slated to be released on January 24, 2017, and is currently available for pre-order via Square Enix online store.
'Kingdom Hearts' 3 Release Date
It's a big year for "Kingdom Hearts" as teased by Tetsuya Nomura. Aside from launching the "Kingdom Hearts" 2.8, a multiplayer feature will also be launched to "Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X." The game director also added that the world tour will begin in March. He also hinted at some other plans that he refused to disclose. Many fans think that Nomura meant it to be "Kingdome Hearts" 3.
