HTC 10 price has been reduced in India by around $70 (INR 5,000). It is now available there for $720 (INR 47,990). The device was launched in June and the price cut is because of the festive season there. The device was released in May and was an instant hit due to its top features and specs. Those planning to buy one must first be aware of its specs and features.

According to reports, the device has a Super LCD5 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen that has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and has the HTC Sense UI. HTC 10 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with a planned upgrade to the Nougat operating system. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and an Adreno 530 graphics processor.

The HTC 10 is available in 32GB and 64GB storage variants with both having 4GB RAM. It has a dedicated microSD card slot expandable up to 256GB. The HTC 10 comes with a fingerprint sensor and fast battery charging functionality. IT can charge 50 percent of the battery in just half an hour. The battery in the HTC 10 is a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh, reports GSMArena.

The 12MP camera in HTC 10 is equipped with OIS, laser autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. Other camera features include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama. The secondary 5MP camera also features OIS along with autofocus and HDR and supports 1080p.

Such top-class specs at a reduced price make HTC 10 a must-buy. It is available in Carbon Gray, Topaz Gold, Glacier Silver and Camellia Red colors. A $150 discount was also introduced in many countries last month.

HTC has also introduced another deal wherein HTC 10 buyers will be treated to a free HTC Desire 626, HTC Desire 626s or an HTC Desire 530. If buyers don't want another phone, buying the device from the official store will get them a free HTC RE Camera, reports Nashville Chatter.
