Despite the reality of “The Sims 5” not arriving until 2019, such has not killed the possibility of a surprise coming. In fact, some are tying it up with the upcoming DLCs for “The Sims 4”.
Though the dish by Neurogadget is not realistic, it would have been something to see a surprise release of the “The Sims 5”. But with the series of events tied up to “The Sims 4”, the wise money says that EA and Maxis are not crazy enough to hold back and pull a fast one to life-simulation gamers.
Purely DLCs for “The Sims 4”
The upcoming expansion is “City Living” for “The Sims 4” set to be out by November. This is a paid app which means gamers who want more content will have to shell out some dollars to get it. That said, there is no telling of folks would pay for the new adventure on “The Sims 4”. The fourth installment didn’t perform that well and such is seen as the reason why no game console version came out and that no plans for “The Sims 5” has so far been hyped.
“City Living” could improve chances of “The Sims 5” plans
As most are probably aware, the DLC route is what EA has been doing to save the smothered future of “The Sims” franchise. It is seen as a safe alternative for the game developers as they try to appease the disappointed gamers for now. “The Sims 4: City Living” does seem to show promise and hopefully it will draw in renewed interest to help decide the fate of “The Sims 5”, something mentioned in a previous post.
All that should be known next month when the “The Sims 4: City Living” comes out. Folks who want to get hold of it will need to pay £30.
