"Clash of Clans" is getting ready to launch its next big update. The new "Clash of Clans" content will reportedly bring new features and tweaks, including the new Bomb Tower.
Supercell wrote that the Bomb Tower will debut in "Clash of Clans" in mid-October 2016. The tower will be available when players reach Town Hall 8 and the new structure damages groups of charging melee troops that lack strategy. The Bomb Tower also explodes in a small radius when destroyed. In "Clash of Clans," Bomb Towers will allow more balance and added defense for mass-assaulted players. The Bomb Tower can be upgraded up to level 5 and a second tower can be built with Town Hall 10.
The upcoming "Clash of Clans" update also greatly increased the hitpoints of Witches, making these tougher during attacks. The Bomb Tower, on the other hand, is an effective defensive structure against players who prefer attacking with Witches and their skeletons. Supercell is also planning to tweak the gameplay involving Hog Riders, so that these will be preparing for Bomb Towers as well. With the new "Clash of Clans" update, Giant Bombs will no longer trigger 1.5x damage to Hog Riders.
According to reports, the "Clash of Clans" update will also bring new troop levels and defense structures levels. Most of the changes are related to Town Hall 11. Wizards can be upgraded to level 7 with Town Hall 10. "Clash of Clans" players with Town Hall 11 can upgrade Hidden Tesla to level 9, Baby Dragon to level 5, Dragon to level 6, Mortar to level 10 and X-Bow to level 5. There will be 25 extra Wall pieces when players reach Town Hall 11.
Supercell also introduced several reductions in upgrade costs and times in "Clash of Clans" with the new update. Various rebalancing changes were made, particularly in the spell buffs of Witch and Skeleton, with more skeletons possibly spawning. Adjustments were made on Clan Wars loot rules, Clan XP rules and Clan Wars matchmaking. The new "Clash of Clans" update will arrive on Oct. 11, 2016.
