Nintendo NX is slated for a 2017 release sometime in the first quarter. Reports revealed that the upcoming device will feature game cartridges that will support 4K streaming. Nintendo officially announced the release date of NX in March 2017 but some argue that the release date should be pushed further to June.

Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One have reportedly went ahead of competitors in the gaming industry. However, Nintendo reportedly has its own brand of excitement in the works which is allegedly the Nintendo NX.
The Japanese company steered close with leaders due to console and handheld offerings. Furthermore, Nintendo US President Reggie Fils-Aime noted that the company needs to help gamers understand the distinctiveness of the product and its impact to the whole gaming experience.
While the company kept mum about its upcoming launch, there is reportedly a growing anticipation for the Nintendo NX which is said to be a hybrid controller, Tech Radar reported. Rumor has it that a new reinvention is also in the works. For several months, reports have been claiming that the company is investing in R&D to make its first primary VR console.

The Nintendo NX reportedly includes a NVIDIA Tegra chip which is said to, be the most powerful mobile processor right now on the market. The console may support a 1,080 pixel resolution and is expected to run at 60 frames per second (fps). Additionally, a Reddit user unveiled that the device is a go-approach rather than an interactive type and may include game cartridges.

In other news, the delay of the Nintendo NX is said to help it dominate in 2017. Nintendo officially announced that the NX will roll out in March 2017. However, this is seen as a bad move to some who believe that announcing a new console in the holiday season that would not be released in the holidays is apparently a bad idea. Nintendo NX is also expected to hold a premiere event in January. Moreover it is also believed to move its release date to June to give more time to promote the product.
