One Plus 4 is reportedly one of the most highly anticipated smartphones rumored to be released in 2017. The device is slated to roll out with the latest Android OS, bigger than ever storage and processor as well as the optimum quality in cameras. The phone is surprisingly rumored to cut cost lower than the iPhone 7.
One Plus 4 is set on becoming a flagship killer boasting high performance specs at a reasonably high cost. The Chinese phone manufacturer has not yet announced an official release date, but thedfghl; handset will allegedly hit the market on the first quarter of 2017.
One Plus 4 is expected to roll out with a hefty 8GB RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830. In 2016, smartphones could only rise up to a 6GB RAM. Apparently, even the newly-released smartphones like the iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 only have 2GB and 4GB of RAM respectively. Additionally, the handset is also expected to come with the Android 7.0 Nougat, Tech Radar reported.
The One Plus 4 reportedly boasts a 23MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie snapper. Currently, the newly-released Google Pixel reportedly has the best camera quality with a 12.3MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture lens and an 8MP front camera. If rumors are true, the handset may be priced lower than half the price of the iPhone 7, according to a report.
Meanwhile, prior to the release of the One Plus 4, a bigger One Plus 3 model is rumored in the works. According to a report, a phone had been spotted on GFXBench with similar specs to that of the One Plus 3. The leaked image showed a relatively smaller screen size leading to speculations that the company will launch a One Plus 3 mini.
One Plus 4 predecessor however will not be a "mini", One Plus co-founder Carl Pei said. In fact, a bigger version of the device has been speculated dubbed One Plus 3 Plus, analyst Pan Jiutang said. The device is to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB RAM and 3,000mAh battery along with a 6-inch screen size with 1,440 x 2,560 resolution.
