‘Final Fantasy XV’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: PC Version Possible For 2017

Square Enix has taken in a chunk of pre-orders for “Final Fantasy XV” with the game expected to come out on Nov. 29 for the PS4 and Xbox One. It should be noted that the said release date is already delayed considering it should have been out in September.

As mentioned in a previous post, one of the main reasons behind the delay of “Final Fantasy XV” are optimization issues. This was divulged no less by game director Hajime Tabata who cited frame rate drops plaguing the fantasy game.

So far, Square Enix has been mum on whether there are more pressing matters for “Final Fantasy XV” which hint that the game is on track for a Nov. 29 release. But do take note that the version coming out is only for the PS4 and Xbox One. So where is the PC version?

What’s the score for the PC version of “Final Fantasy XV”?

With not much update on the PC version of “Final Fantasy XV”, the general explanation rendered by Tabata is that it may take a year to develop and release. With no details, his dish seems to be tackling the game as a whole which will likely include the same frame-rate issues plus graphics.

Knowing the flexibility of a PC which can upgrade GPUs easily, finding the optimum display for “Final Fantasy XV” is seen as the main reason why no factual update has been rendered, Neurogadget reported.

That said, the best that gamers can catch a glimpse of “Final Fantasy XV” is through either the PS4 or Xbox One for now. The game play and graphics could give gamers an idea of what to expect as Square Enix works on the PC rendition that can hopefully debut in 2017.

For the ones who are aching to play “Final Fantasy XV,” a wild recourse would be to get a console. If that seems too much, you can always crash your friend who has one and gets a feel of what Square Enix has to offer.
