The votes are in, and it's time to see which newcomer (if any) will take home the win from this week's "Injustice Battle Arena." First up, two uber powerful aliens clash like titans, as boy scout Superman takes on fear wielding foe Sinestro.
While Sinestro and Green Lantern both have rings as the source of their power, Lantern's attacks are more projectile based, whereas Sinestro uses his ring for up and personal attacks, with ring generated melee weapons. We've seen Supes in combat before, but this video offers a great look at his Fortress of Solitude. See for yourself below.
A fling through the Phantom Zone puts Sinestro out of commission. You didn't really think Sinestro could take on Big Blue in his home base, could you?
Next up, emerald archer Ollie Queen goes up against newcomer HawkGirl. Will trick arrows and dry wit be enough against a very large mace? Watch below and find out.
I love the satisfying CLANG everytime HawkGirl's mace smacks Ollie. Despite the weaponry, she's promptly done in by Arrow, who wins with an assist from Darkseid. I had hoped Darkseid would be one of the selectable characters, but this appearance puts and end to those dreams. Oh well...
"Injustice: Gods Among Us" is set to release this April for PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360.
