'Wayward Pines' Season 3 Will Feature Human's Final Hours?
According to reports, Blake Crouch said that the coming "Wayward Pines" Season 3 will feature the study of human's final hours here on earth. It has been said that the Abbie will take control of the people as they are about to dominate the world. The author's claims are pretty much the same with the hearsays surfacing online about the storyline of the new installment.
To recall, in "Wayward Pines" Season 2, the humankind is being defeated by the Abbies. Blake Crouch explained that the previous season's finale was intentionally made that way, so they can continue the battle between the two entities in "Wayward Pines" Season 3. In fact, the leader of the space invader Queen Margaret (Rochelle Okoye) already proved that their kind is stronger and smarter than humans.
Will Human Kind Lose The Battle Against Abbies?
Meanwhile, GamenGuide recently reported that "Wayward Pines" Season 3 will tackle the well-hidden and darkest side story of the Abbies. As the battle between humans and abbies started, fans are going to witness more intense and epic fight as it is bound to continue in the next installment. Evidently, the human kind will have a hard time to take down this element as it has the ability to regain strength by transforming itself.

Fox has yet to announce the airing of "Wayward Pines" Season 3, but the Fox Television Group CEO Dana Walden asserted that it would surely come.
